شیزۆتایپی چییە؟

چۆن پەیوەندی بە وەهمەکانەوە هەیە؟

وە ئەی ئەزموونە ڕۆحییەکان و داهێنانەکان؟

لێرەدا بزانە.

توێژینەوەکان چەند هۆکارێکیان بە داهێنانەوە گرێداوە. یەکێک لەوانە شیزۆتایپییە. بە شێوەیەکی پارادۆکسیکال بە سیفەتێکی کەسایەتی نەخۆش و نەخۆشی و تەنانەت تاریکیش دادەنرێت. بەڵام ئەمڕۆ دەزانین ئەو تاکانەی ئەم سیفەتە پیشان دەدەن لە ئێمە داهێنەرترن.

شیزۆتایپی دوو جۆر هەیە. یەکەم: شیزۆتایپی شێرپەنجەیی هەیە. لەگەڵ ئەم جۆرەدا مەترسی تووشبوون بە حاڵەتە دەروونییەکان زیاد دەکات. بە گوێرەی ئەمپارۆ بێلۆچ (٢٠٢٠)، بەهۆی زیادەڕۆیی لەخۆگرتنی مەعریفیەوەیە. ئەمەش ئاماژەیە بۆ ناڕێکخراوی بیرکردنەوە و نەتوانینی چێژوەرگرتن لە کۆبوونەوە کۆمەڵایەتییەکان.

دووەم: شیزۆتایپی ئەرێنی هەیە. ئەم جۆرە پەیوەستە بە داهێنان و پرۆسەی دەروونی ترەوە. بۆ نموونە، زیادبوونی تێگەیشتن لە ئەزموونە پارانۆرمالەکان (Parra, 2015). ئەم تاکانە دەتوانن وەڵام بدەنەوە و بە شێوەیەکی گونجاو تێڕوانینە نائاساییەکانیان بەڕێوەببەن. جگە لەوەش دەتوانن بیانگۆڕن و بەرزیان بکەنەوە بۆ دروستکردنی هونەری و زانستی-تەکنیکی.

شیزۆتایپی

بە گوێرەی کلاریج (Belloch, 2020) ئەم تایبەتمەندییە تایبەتمەندی ئەو تاکانەیە کە توانای هەستکردنیان بە ئەزموونە نائاساییەکانی ژیان هەیە. بیرکردنەوەکانیان تەواو ناڕێکخراوە. لە ڕاستیدا ئەوان هەم کەسانی ناتەبایی و هەم کەسانی ئیمپاسیڤن.

شیزۆتایپی خۆی توانای ئەوەی نییە کە تاکێک تووشی نەخۆشی دەروونی بێت. هەرچەندە دەتوانێت تەندروستی دەروونی تێکبدات و بشێوێنێت، بەڵام میهرەبانترین و خێرخوازترین بەشەکەی پەیوەندییەکی چڕ و پڕی بە داهێنانەوە هەیە. لە ئەنجامدا شیزۆتایپی بێهۆشکەر پەیوەست بووە بە توانا هونەری و داهێنەر و زانستییەکانەوە

Research has linked several factors to creativity. One of them is schizotypy. Paradoxically, it has been considered a morbid, pathological and even dark personality trait. But today we know that individuals who exhibit this trait are more creative than the rest of us.

There are two types of schizotypy. First, there is malignant schizotypy. With this type, there is an increased risk of psychotic conditions. According to Amparo Belloch (2020), it is due to cognitive over-inclusion. This refers to disorganization of thought and inability to enjoy social gatherings.

Second, there is positive schizotypy. This type is linked to creativity and other mental processes. For example, increased perception of paranormal experiences (Parra, 2015). These individuals can respond and adaptively manage their unusual perceptions. In addition, they can transform and sublimate them into artistic and scientific-technical creations.

Schizotypy

According to Claridge (Belloch, 2020), this characteristic characterizes individuals who are capable of perceiving unusual life experiences. Their thoughts are quite disorganized. In fact, they are both non-conformist and impulsive people.

Schizotypy itself lacks the potential to cause an individual to develop psychosis. Although it can wear down and erode mental health, its kindest and most benevolent part is intensely related to creativity. As a result, benign schizotypy has been associated with artistic, creative, and scientific abilities

  (Belloch, 2020).

Depending on how this trait affects the individual's daily life, schizotypy can be either beneficial or harmful. On the positive end, it is a form of adaptive functioning that borders on psychosis without actually triggering the condition.

The link between schizotypy and creativity

One aspect we must take into account is anhedonia. This term refers to a reduced ability to enjoy the things that bring pleasure in people's daily lives.

As part of schizotypy, anhedonia is an element that makes a difference. It indicates a potential risk of erosion in mental health. Those with positive schizotypy do not experience this (Parra, 2015).

Anhedonia is the component or factor that can potentially differentiate healthy and creative individuals from those with psychosis. People who score high on schizotypy and low on anhedonia can healthily channel this factor of their character through innovation. This means they are more creative.

Anhedonia was found, based on a sample of creative artists and poets, to be negatively correlated with creativity.”

Spiritual experiences

Besides the absence of anhedonia, there is another link between schizotypy and creativity. This is the perception of spiritual experiences. These types of perceptions include "feeling transcendent", the idea of the "cosmic being", the experience of being "swallowed by the sea", "the feeling of being at peace with the mysterious", "the perception of supernatural events" and, finally, the feeling of being in touch with "something higher".

The experience most associated with schizotypy is “feeling oneself accompanied by a spiritual entity” (Parra, 2012). However, these beliefs, thoughts and experiences are quite rare. Scientific evidence suggests that they are usually positive for people's mental health.

What is the relationship between these experiences and creativity?

We find the answer to this question in the consequences of perceiving the world in this way. In fact, these individuals tend to feel friendlier, wiser, and humbler compared to the rest of the population. These differences could be linked to creativity.

Experts have suggested that schizotypy can be an advantage in adaptive terms. In fact, we can see positive schizotypy as an idiosyncratic belief organization that provides protection against alien beliefs. Individuals can use these perceptions to produce beautiful poetic, literary and musical works.

For years, people have tried to link mental illness with creativity through disparaging statements such as "Only the insane are capable of great deeds". But as you can see, it is the unique component of schizotypy that seems to be behind some of the most beautiful creations.
