Self-righteous people rarely come to the top.
When we say "come to the top" we do not talk about passing over others with superficial measurements measured. It does not mean that you are the most attractive person. We do not say that self-satisfied people can not be the most successful workplace.
Getting to the top means so much more than that. It means deep, authentic, mental health. To be happy is to be on top. Living life and enjoying it is the most precious we can hope for.
The concept of putting less weight on ourselves goes hand in hand with unconditional acceptance. When we lose our ego and remember that we are simple people, we can throw ourselves down the pressure of pretending to put on masks.
People are valuable in ourselves. Above all, we are valuable in our ability to love. Titles, wealth, great beauty ... none of this means anything unless we know how to love. It's worthless if we can not love life and other people.
If we look closely, the kind of people we really appreciate and admire those who are genuine. They accept themselves and are sure in which they are. They try to improve, but do not say to themselves that they should not be who they are.
On the contrary, they find the positive value in which they are. When we are psychologically vulnerable to the world, when we cut down on our ego and love ourselves just the way we are, that's when we're on top.
Self-sufficient people depend on the environment
When we assign people value based on what they have or what they achieved, we make a mistake. We make another mistake when we value ourselves based on certain features. If we do not accept ourselves for who we are, we will suffer.
External things can not add value to a person. As a trashy example, we can say that a fruit card is worth just as much if it has some fruits with some imperfections. In other words, we can not base our personal value on an action or aspect.
The ability to love something is luckily an ability that is innate with humans. It does not matter if you are a politician, gatesop, programmer or model. Each person carries a love for life, just like everyone else.
Everyone has a great ability to love, and we are all worth the same. Neither ethnicity nor gender, intelligence or money makes any difference.
Visualize that you take care of your self-esteem
If we are self-sufficient people, we must visualize ourselves without all the things alleged to make us vulnerable. That way, we can free ourselves from the press that comes from believing that we need specific features, be in a certain way or have certain things. They are like clothes that disappear when you are naked.
For example, if I'm the kind of person who thinks that a good body gives me higher value, I'll imagine without my body. I have to visualize myself as an unattractive but extremely happy person. Good looks, though, do not necessarily lead us to enjoy life.
We can do the same with other external features. Some examples are intelligence or success. If we can see ourselves as happy but unintelligent or unsuccessful people, we will be less dependent on the "clothes" we hide behind.
We can be more flexible and less strict against our imperfections. These imperfections can nevertheless be found in every body and every soul.
When you're free you can come to the top. You have accepted yourself and freed yourself from false needs and dependence on the world. You are no longer one of the self-worthy people ...
We will be happy no matter what things we own. We will be in peace with ourselves and our surroundings, because we will not feel the need to create a certain image so that others will accept us. Paradoxically, only then will others really accept us.
So the key to our health and happiness is to stop being self-sufficient people. We must tell ourselves that we are people who are worth the trouble, but for that matter, do not be self-sufficient.
That can be contradictory, but it is true. Tell yourself that you are excellent but replaceable. That attitude gives us a mental break. We have nothing to prove; We just love ourselves for who we are.
